Introduction

The purpose of this blog is to discuss anything and everything involved with patentability, but in particular, 35 U.S.C. §§ 101, 102, and 103. I plan to summarize new cases, both Federal Circuit and District Court, that deal with issues of patentability, as well as provide information on any changes to these statutes that come out of the Patent Office. Please note that if a case deals with more than simply patentability (as most do), I will only discuss those parts of the case that deal with patentability. I will also provide “Flashback” summaries of “landmark” cases that deal with 35 U.S.C. §§ 101, 102, and 103.
